King of the Wing National Sprint Car Shoot Out!
Saturday August 8th at the Stockton 99 Speedway

On Saturday, August 8th, the King of the Wing Sprint Car Series rolls into the Stockton 99 Speedway for some action packed asphalt racing. Saturday nights action packed event is set for a competitive night of racing on August 8th at the Stockton 99 Speedway in search of the World's best pavement sprint car driver 2015. Series promotor, Davey Hamilton, had this to say on the west coast schedule, "We are excited to bring the series back to these tracks, the fans were exceptional and the track officials and staff went out of their way to make sure the series had what we needed to ensure the success of each race."

The "King of the Wing" Series is designed to work with all teams, promoters, fans and sponsors, to strengthen pavement Winged Sprint Car racing from coast to coast, working directly with all existing pavement Sprint Car Series. Long term plans for the Series are to provide a competitive rules package that can apply to all Sprint Cars and create race events that truly allows the promoters and racers to build bigger venues, show the sponsors and fans the world's fastest short track cars, and to promote some of the best short track drivers competing head-to-head no matter what part of the country they are from or what Series they run on a regular basis. This is the only pavement Sprint Car Series that features competitors from all across the United States and Canada. KingoftheWing.net for more info.
The North State Modified Series takes on their 7th race of the 2015 season. These cars put on an intense and action-packed show. Keep an eye on Darrin Knight #20 from Kelsey, California, as he has won 3 races so far this season. NorthStateModifieds.com for more info.

Named after a now-gone Fresno race track, the Legends of Kearney Bowl Super Modifieds race for "bragging rights only" and to show off a slice of history - their old hard top cars. At a previous race in Hanford on May 29th, the average age of the Legends of Kearney Bowl racers was 68-1/2. The group started about a decade ago, has about a dozen members who regularly race in the central San Joaquin Valley - many of them former fans and pit men from the "heyday" of racing in the Valley who are now fulfilling a bucket-list.

Come join us for a night of good fun and nostalgic racing also featuring NMCA, Pro-4 Modifieds and BCRA Midgets at the Stockton 99 Speedway.
