Friday & Saturday & Sunday March 18th & 19th
World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series FVP Western Spring Shootout
Featuring Non-Sanctioned Winged 360 Sprint Cars Both Nights!

Stockton, CA - If you are a fan of Winged Sprint Car racing the place to be on Friday & Saturday March 18 & 19 is without a doubt the Stockton Dirt Track for the third annual FVP Western Spring Shootout.

Not only will the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series be on hand for the weekend, but Winged 360 Sprint Cars have also been added to the card each night. The Winged 360’s will run under no sanction, but will follow PMG 360 (Civil War/ Taco Bravo) rules. Each night will pay $3,000-to-win and if a driver ends up winning both nights there is an extra $2,000 double down bonus up for grabs.

The expansion to have both 410’s & 360’s during the weekend continues the trend of the Stockton Dirt Track attempting to form marquee events each season.

“We’re excited to have the Winged 360 Sprints compete alongside the World of Outlaws on March 18 & 19 at the Stockton Dirt Track,” said promoter Tony Noceti. “It really is a Sprint Car lover’s dream weekend and it gets even better when you add in the special show at Delta Speedway on Thursday night. We want to create major events like this and get as many campers to the fairgrounds as we can. Going to the races is so much more than just watching cars go around the track. It’s about friendships, camaraderie, enjoying a cold or hot beverage and having a good time. Our focus here is to continue improving the fan experience and we’re trying to do as much as possible to give everyone the most bang for their buck as we can.”

Last year’s World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event featured two thrilling nights of racing, with the opener seeing eventual Outlaw champion Donny Schatz come out on top of a photo finish with Shane Stewart. The finale was then captured by California favorite Rico Abreu, who battled his way past Terry McCarl for the popular win.

Two-night adult General Admission tickets for the FVP Western Spring Shootout weekend at the Stockton Dirt Track are available for a great value at just $59 & two-night Reserved Grandstand tickets cost only $69. Single-night tickets & box seats are also available. Children 10 & under are free in G.A. only. To reserve your seats simply visit https://dirtcar.ticketforce.com/eventperformances.asp?evt=195
or call (844) 347-8849.

Camping will also be available during the weekend with a number of great spots for RV’s and Campers on the fairgrounds. To reserve your spot contact 916-370-9417. We will do our best to accommodate everyone as well as we can. There is a two-day minimum for camping at the event with the cost being $33 a night. Friday night following the races there will be a party on the VIP deck of the main grandstand. Drinks & food will be available and everyone is encouraged to attend. The party will be in close proximity to the pit & camping area. There will also be a Saturday morning breakfast held for the second straight year.

Delta Speedway, also located on the Fairgrounds, as noted will be running a special race on Thursday March 17, making it a three-night happening on the property. Plans are to once again have a few special guests compete aboard a Micro Sprint during the night. The Delta Speedway is just a short walk across the parking lot from the camping area behind the grandstands at the Dirt Track.

FVP, a premier producer of high quality original equipment auto products, returns as title sponsor for the spring weekend destination event at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds facility, where each night will be a separate points-paying race for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. FVP products are engineered to provide their customers with quality products that are equal or superior in performance to the major national brands at a competitive price.

NOCETI GROUP ANNOUNCES STOCKTON RACING SCHEDULES

STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (January 15, 2016) - Tony & Carol Noceti from Noceti Group have announced the oval track racing schedules for the paved Stockton 99 Speedway and the Stockton Dirt Track for the 2016 season. The pavement schedule will be one of the largest in several years with an increased emphasis on local points racing, while the dirt track will continue to be home of dirt open wheel action in the valley.

Noceti Group also promotes the San Joaquin Asparagus Festival, which will hold its second annual revival at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds April 15-17. Organizers are emphasizing race cars more in the 2016 edition and invite race car teams of all kinds to display during Stockton's largest annual event.

The historic paved quarter-mile Stockton 99 Speedway, located at N. Wilson Way, will see the return of both Late Models and Grand American Modifieds for points racing. The Super Stock division has been re-branded as Stockton Late Models, incorporating many different engines under one unified rules package. Stockton Late Models will compete in ten races over the course of the season. Grand American Modifieds were a staple division at Stockton 99 throughout the 90s and 2000s and return after a one-year hiatus for eight points races. The popular Bomber division will also have ten points races while the track's youngest drivers in the California Mini Cups appear on the program five times.

Special events at Stockton 99 Speedway this year include the three race Tri-Holiday Series on May 28th (Memorial Day weekend), July 2nd for the Firecracker 100, and September 3rd (Labor Day weekend). 100 lap Pacific Challenge Series Super Late Model features headline all three nights. The fastest cars to ever hit the quarter-mile, King of the Wing Sprint Cars return on August 6th along with mighty BCRA Midgets. A variety of vintage classes will compete to thrill the crowd as well.

A pair of Swap Meets book end the season beginning with March 6th's 9th Annual Swap Meet
Hot Rod, Race Car & Antique Collectibles show. General admission is just $5.

Racing gets underway on May 14th for the Stockton Late Models and Grand American Modifieds with the championship points night set for September 17th.

Over on the dirt side of things, action will continue for a fourth season at the beautiful 3/8ths mile Stockton Dirt Track located inside the one-mile horse track at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds. The facility is one of the newest and nicest in the state. Preparations are already underway and tickets on sale for the "Greatest Show on Dirt" the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars on March 18th and 19th. The WoO race has quickly become one of the premier motorsports events in the Central Valley. This year the Outlaws race gets even bigger as 360 Sprint Cars join the action making for a Sprint Car double header each night!

A complete weekend of racing incorporates the adjacent 1/7th mile Delta Speedway on Thursday night where professional Sprint Car drivers will appear and race with the Micro Sprint stars. Friday night will also have a post-race fan party with meet and greets and live music.

World of Outlaws sets the stage for a complete season of open wheel racing including the King of the West 410 Sprint Cars on three occasions. All three events honor a racing legend including May 21st with the Tribute to Leroy Van Connett, June 18 for the inaugural Jimmy Sills Classic, and the two day Tribute to Gary Patterson November 4th and 5th.

The popular Monster Truck Madness show returns September 30th and October 1st, plus the Summer Nationals Tractor Pulls on June 17th. The Kenny Wallace Racing Experience appears twice as well.
